Can my alternator handle 2 batteries?

I'm lokin to get a whole other battery jsut for my system. Would my stock alternator for an 05 jeep liberty sport handle both batteries. Im gunna run the big 3 wiring on both of them, jw if i should just get one bigger battery for the whole car or get a second?? IF i get one battery for the whole car, which battery is best for a 2600 watt amp??

yep I got two battery, hell some people put three on one alterntor. Mine is 100 amps. I know yours is bigger than mine, so I say go for it. It wont hurt...

if my lil alty can handle 2 batts yours can as well just dont try to put 4 saz3000 on 2 batts and stock alty

Your alternator can handle another battery fine. People who say that adding another battery will cause more strain and make it worse, are wrong.
