Can my 10" Type-R hang with this amp?

I have an olderl Punch 200ix DSM and I wanted to know if my one 10" Alpine Type-R (dual 2 ohm) can hang or if you guys think this amp will eat my speaker alive? I know these Alpines can take alot but these older Punch amps are very underrated (I think the birth sheet says something like a little over 600 watts @ 4ohms). Opinions please. Thanks

if you wire it at 4 ohms and dont just crank the gain way up then you should have no problems.
