What 6.5's to get?

Well I recently took out my system do to space issues, so right now I just have a set of junk 6.5's in the doors off my HU. What is a good set of 6.5's to be powered off my alpine HU? Yeah I know powering them off the headunit will always ****.

x2 on those. I was quite impressed with them when I put them in the front doors of my durango ran off the head unit just to have some sound while its gutted

trust me, its not easy. keep the 100.2, and go with a nice set of comps, you will wish you did once you find out its hard to get loud off hu power. your hu will at the most put out 20-25 watts rms. you find me a speaker that will get loud off that...

trust me, you want comps. and they dont even have to be mine, i just dont want you to set your self up for failure.

yeah i know, i am selling my whole system now, so not really trying to go through all that shit, no where to mount the amp etc.

what do you drive, the 100.2 has a pretty small footprint and you could fit that somewhere pretty easily. 4 guage wire is cheap enough to buy to wire it up, and then buy some pg rsd's.

100.2 - already have

4 guage - 15-20$

rca's - 8-10$

rsd's - 90$

so for 120$ you can have a nice front stage, with great midbass, and a hell of an amp. and that price could be lower depending on where you got everything. personally i would buy off here and get it real cheap...

ARC FD or KS series.. Both will work well off HU power or amplified.
