can i use this battery?

got an optima yellow under the hood, but would like to throw a battery in the back.

can i use a Deka Dominator - Deep Cycle 98ah 12v

???? the 12v makes me think no, but...????

i think this is them though, it's the only dominator series that match the ah and measurements he posted

just check the standing voltage...if its strong it will be worth $25...you'll get at least $10 out of it from the metal scrapper they usually buy old batteries...when ever it goes bad...that could be years...from now

yes...all store bought standard batterys are 12vs...they usually rest between 12.3 and 12.8vs...when the engine is running they will climb to 14+v's to charge

yes. my ups batts i got from work are 12 volt 100 amp.
