now i have a delima and may just order the 1500.1 as my sub is a D2 and so getting the 1500.1 would be 1500 @ 1 ohm. Other than that I would have to order another sub, a D4 to be able to get to 2 ohm stable. I'd prefer to get the 1500.1 amp though as it has a remote and doesn't look like the 1F has a remoteCan you take a good quality photo of the amp side that has the x-overs and all that?
Sorry, can you explain? I'm not following at all...now i have a delima and may just order the 1500.1 as my sub is a D2 and so getting the 1500.1 would be 1500 @ 1 ohm. yeah now the whole crossover subsonic thing is a moot point because I realized that the sub I ordered can only be wired @ 1 ohm or 4 ohm and the amp @ 2 ohm is 1500W. I could send the sub back and get a D4 but then I realized also the amp doesn't have a remote and I wanted a remote. So the easiest thing to do is order the 1500.1 that will be 1 ohm stable for the sub I have.Sorry, can you explain? I'm not following at all...
other amp came in yesterday but didn't open it yet. Take a look at this video below and let me know what you think about the low/high input levels of the 1500.1 and on the 800.4, the x1 and x10, give me a little pointer on this because the manual doesn't say much.I'm good, already have quite a few amps.

manual also says IIRC use a ground 18-24 inches max but isn't 3 ft max the standard?
The polk audio db6501 component set came with crossover networks so I'm assuming those are passive since it requires no power to run them.High/low switch - assuming just means whether you're using RCA or speaker level inputs. The x1/x10 switch does exactly what it says - if pressed, multiplies the select x-over frequency by 10. So if you set it to 75 and press x10, the x-over frequency will be 750Hz. 1500.1 only has LPF and subsonic filter, so that's easy. The 800.4 has a bandpass option, which means you can use LPF and HPF at the same time - just like the guy noted in the video. If you're using the 800.4 for the mids/highs that already have passive x-overs, you'll just need to use the HPF on that amp.
coolYeah, they're passive. So use the LPF on the 1500.1 and use the HPF (the 1x option) on the 800.4.
Yeah, speaker and power wire on same side, RCAs on the other. You can run the remote on same side as RCAs.cool
The power wire and speaker wires can be ran on the same side right? I did have it like that and the Rca's ran on the other side.
now as for my amp's gain remote, run on side with Rca?
man I just emailed Crescendo, I should call them too man lol. Took the 1500.1 out of the box and I heard something rolling around inside.............................Yeah, speaker and power wire on same side, RCAs on the other. You can run the remote on same side as RCAs.
