Can I take an amp on a airplane?

I'm from another country D.R and every time that I travel there I take some new equipment for my ride and I never have any problem with it.

I will be taking a plane on december and I going to take with me two big amps(orions), a radio, and some subs(Brahma).

hey well i live in another country....trinidad...it;s in the caribbean

and i boarded from miami international two montsh ago with an amp and i had no problems

AA doesnt allow boxes on board
