Can I run three amps with one battery

I have two amps in there now. A 1000 watt amp and a 500 watt amp. Do you guys think it would hurt it if I put a 350 watt amp in there? I have an Optima Red Top, and a one farad cap.

Your electrical current capacity while in-motion is determined by your alternator and charging system, not the battery...

I'd say you'd be fine.

If you haven't upgraded your alternator already, you should be looking into that. Soon.

I have been looking into it, but at the time i cant afford it.

See the thing is, I am using two channels of my highs amp to push my to P2 12's. I want to get my highs amp back. I need to give the 12's more power, cuz im not giving them hardly any.

So if you guys think it will work, ill give it a try.

Sell your bostwic amp and buy another mono block that can power all four subs, this will be more electrically efficient then running three separate amps.

I've tried what you are asking and ran into problems with too much power being wasted as heat, you want as much power being coverted to wattage as possible especially if you're entering into db comps.

Look for a monoblock class D with 2000watts RMS at 1ohm

The only problem i have now is that the subs on my bostwick amp are DVC 4Ohm. And the other two are SVC 4 Ohm. Is there a way I could wire it all onto the bostwick anyways.?

You could wire the DVC subs coils in series so each sub is 8ohms then parralel the whole thing like this 8ohm/8ohm/4ohm/4ohm that will give you a 1.3333.. ohm load.

The 8ohm subs will recieve less power the 4 ohm subs because the current will try to take the path of least resistance, you will need to try it and see how it sounds.

If you have 4 DVC 4ohm woofers you can get a 2ohm load

4 SVC 4ohm woofers will give 1ohm.

You can run the subs you have now but I would reccomend getting 4 of the exact same woofers in the future.
