Can I run a Sundown 4500 on my stock Durango Alt w/3 Red Top batteries?

Can I run a Sundown Saz-4500 on my stock Durango Alt w/3 Red Top batteries? I have been scared to put it in without upgrading my alt. I will be running it on 3 Sundown Zv3 12's. Please help, any and all info greatly appreciated.

Nope, need a high output alt and at least 2 runs of 0 gauge.

Well you can, just set your gains with an O scope so your not getting much over 2k out of it. Do that and install a voltage meter so you can see how much drop your getting.
