I just got a Bazooka BT1024DVC from my dad for Xmas. I have a 12cx300 amp that I am currently running a single Rockford Fosgate P1S4-10 on. The Box that the RF is in takes up most of my trunk so I am hoping I can just switch the bazooka for the RF and not have any issues. but I have had friends melt down amps and speakers by not having the right setup. So can I run a Bazooka BT1024DVC off a Kicker 12CX300.1 Amplifier without damaging either one of the components? If I can't could you suggest and amp I could use that won't break the bank, I am a student and don't have money falling from the sky.

set your gain properly and you will be fine. FYI the RF sub is a better sub than the Bazooka tube.

If the 1x10 enclosure takes up your whole trunk you either have a tiny trunk or an overly large enclosure.
