can i match my front speaker gain to the rear speaker gain

you can ,but most likely you'll send a clipping signal to the rears if you do .you can turn the fronts down.and as far as the sub amp ,you can set the gains with a dmm just to be safe.but it may already be set where it needs to be.

why would the rears not be able to handle the smae power as the fronts,
