can i match my front speaker gain to the rear speaker gain

Had my system installed and the gain for the fronts is more than the back i guess its because its the back however can i put the rears up the same as the front also my subs gain is really low if i increase it what will happen.

you can ,but most likely you'll send a clipping signal to the rears if you do .you can turn the fronts down.and as far as the sub amp ,you can set the gains with a dmm just to be safe.but it may already be set where it needs to be.

why would the rears not be able to handle the smae power as the fronts,

the rears are usually just for rear fill,not saying they cant .but most systems dont have better speakers than the front

oh i bought the same for both lol i wanted higher end speakers in all 4 spots lol

So it shouldnt clip then right
