Is running speaker wire over power wire bad?

I know you are supposed to separate RCAs and power wires to avoid interference but what about the speaker wire going to amp. For example, if my sub wires crossed under the power wire on the way to the amp is that bad? What about ground and power wires crossing? im so paranoid lol

Sub wires won't really matter, but I wouldn't run the speaker wire going to your mids and highs. I see noise being a problem, but you won't hear that through your sub

if you can have them cross at 90 degress. but no you wont see a whole lot of interference.

my most all my wires over cross each other and run alot side one another since im in a single cab truck. I dont have any issues with it, but my rcas are threw the center. Main power along side front door wires and then runs to the back that has all the wires for the whole thing along the bottom of my box. Since i have amps on either end, i say its all horse ****

I agree. Good wire management is a learned habit to get into, once you find a tried and true way stick with it!

If they just cross at a certain point its not bad but dontt run ur power and speakers wires together...

I run my speaker wire with my rcas and the power on the opposite side

Im confused, how do you get wires to both front doors then? You dont have power wires for your front doors on both sides???

Speaker wires are very low impedance and can't pick up any noise. It desn't matter a bit where you rout them.

There is the answer i was looking for! I hope the wasnt directed towards me......i guess the person who told me RCAs by power wires is bad would have mentioned its bad for speaker wires too.

I have done an install where I ran power, rcas, and speaker wire in the same **** loom and didn't hear noise.

Unless you are some ultra SQ audiophile or run cheap **** equipment, you probably won't hear it.
