can I make this box work

I have this box http://img34.imageshack.us/my.php?image=2cubes34hz36sqin7fh.png it was for my 3002 spl but I need a box for my 10" me if I put some scrap pices of mdf in side the box to take up some space will it work for my 10 and if it wont I have a plan for a 1.25cf box with a 4" pvc port will this give me port nose I am out of $ and mdf I have a 1.5cf seald box I was going to put the 4" port in to

just make a new box, costs under 30 bucks. you'll probably spend more time and money into ghetto rigging this one

ok I have a some mdf to bild a 1cf sealed box or shuld I put a single 4" pvc port 11" long in a 1.25cf box that is what the enclosure recommindations I got with the sub so smal sealed box or ported box with a lot of port nose witch one is beter
