Can I lay subs down?

Does that mean have the sub wired to the box on the inside, then have clips for the wires to go from the box to the amp? If so yes.
No. Do you have the coaxial speakers in a separate, sealed off part of the box than what the subs are in?

Oh you mean do I have the regular speakers separate from the subs? Yes I do, I just used that picture as an example instead of having to get my camera and take a picture and do all that bs, they are in my door. Subs are in a box near the back of the vehicle.

Ok so maybe I should just post of picture I drew myself and hope you guys don't laugh at me, I'm rocking 2x 15" Kicker Squares in the back of my van, but I wanna change to a SUV but then the subs will will block my rear view, no biggie but if that's something I don't have to sacrifice I don't want to.

So on the left is the sub box standing up(In case my drawing is really that bad, the square thing inside the box is the sub) and on the right is the sub box laying down with the sub facing the roof, is that safe for the sub or can that cause damage?

L7/L5s and worrying about SQ=//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
More worried about the actual sub being damaged. Are L5/L7 really that bad for quality? or is it the fact that they are square? When I bought them I thought they would be good SQ, but seem to miss some notes, they are mostly for just being noisy.
