in the first set of pics, all i see is good places for a ground. Scrape the paint. get a good crimp on a copper o ring and use a self tapping sheetmetal screw. done.
Could it some how be my ground to lose this much voltage? Or has to be batteryYup...if it's not getting enough voltage/juice from battery, some amps will either shut off, go into protect, etc.
Ummm.....that's a good question. I honestly couldn't tell ya. IF I had to guess, no. But....wouldn't hurt to look at your ground anyway, make sure the area is nice and clean, free of rust, corrosion, etc and tight connection. If your having battery issues, do a DMM test on it, or take it down to a auto parts store and have them load test it for ya. Here in the states it's free. Not sure in your state tho...Could it some how be my ground to lose this much voltage? Or has to be battery

i did not think of this lol thank youIf you use a washer
im running my cab1600.1 on a psi psi plat 2 and pwx6.5 with sts-1 tweets active going to a ppi900.4You also need to ask yourself, is the power source able to handle that total wattage it's been asked for?

i was also going to use the seatbelt buckle to ground my grounds because it would be better contact as i read online and your suggestion but when i finally grinded down my o ring to the size of the bolt it just spins the ring and wire and its so hard to hold it down to screw the bolt backThe seat bolt is actually perfect so long as u wire brush it down to bare metal. Wire brush the bolt/chassis area. If you have a round terminal on your ground cable, chuck that terminal between the seat belt lug and the chassis an blot in, that's 100% contact an it should do well. I'v done this on my car, no issues whatsoever. You can also wire brush the seat belt lug underside to bare metal to make the contact even better.

Well you better get that sorted I feel a big 3 upgrade is very important when running big power systems, it's clearly documented that It does make a considerable difference, ground your engine to the chassis that should be simple. But you must do your alt aswell jack it or an what not, get it done. Upgrade your alt aswell it's not hard, watch YouTube videos.im running my cab1600.1 on a psi psi plat 2 and pwx6.5 with sts-1 tweets active going to a ppi900.4 with a aftermarket battery and a stock alt.
i didnt do big 3 yet
only thing i did so far is ground from battery to chassis but thats because to get to my alt is almost impossible from getting from the top and from down under
its like behind and under my engine
20006 mazda 6 v6 problems.
A AGM battery should never rest below 12.5v. At like 12.4v it's only at 50% of its ability.. there's charts on the internet if u google it.. if your at 9v that battery is most likely toast. You might be able to bring it back but chances are it's weakIf my battery tests at 13.7 volts and on random days my amps run the same and drop accordingly but some days like today and yesterday it's at 9.7 volts and I'm assuming it's going into protect because it's not getting sufficient power is this true?![]()

Make sure you crimped it down hard and tight, if you did, holding it in place while u tighten it shouldn't be an issue. U will be faced with all sorted of problems and issues mate, overcome them all or risk getting burned or blowing somthing up.i was also going to use the seatbelt buckle to ground my grounds because it would be better contact as i read online and your suggestion but when i finally grinded down my o ring to the size of the bolt it just spins the ring and wire and its so hard to hold it down to screw the bolt back
Doesn't really matter what washer you use as the copper from the o ring will be against the chassis. I scrape the paint with my dremel or you can use a flathead screwdriveri did not think of this lol thank youbtw i have a case full of washers but theyre zinc? is this okay or is there a certain washer i need? and the self tapping is there a certain one thats made out of that i need?
if say my ground is not brushed off of metal does this mean i would lose all the way to my current voltage now 9.7 volts or would i be off by like 1 or something?
