Good point. With my stupid squares I lose sq on anything higher than 50. Of course I'm not a fan of the sound of 60-100hz anyways so it's not a big deal. I just prefer a sharp peak from 38-45 to make people hurt, so I will always tune in the low 30s.One reason why you should, is because it moves the spike in group delay further away from the kick-drum. My 10" sub that's in a 28hz box plays music great, and can play well above what any sub should be playing.
sameI always tune low. I like the 26 to mid/high 30 range //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of anything over 60hz coming from my sub either. My current setup just dominates in the 30's, I love it. And for a single 10 off of 400 watts or so, it's pretty impressive in the 25-40hz range.Good point. With my stupid squares I lose sq on anything higher than 50.
