I have a CJ7 that needs an engine.
FUUUUUUCK, fav car

honestly bro... if you like it, go for it.

your not going to get all positive feedback on any car when you go online... people are just biased to their own ideals. srt-4's are pretty quick lil cars... and if the guy has everything done that he says he does, than it would be a pretty bad *** lil ride.

i would personally try to talk him down... not cuz the car isnt worth it, but just cuz i dont like to pay full price for anything.

as far as reliability... it is a domestic, which honestly, up till about a couple years ago, their reliability was ****... but its all about how you drive it, take care of it, and maintain it. you can easily make that car last well past 100,000 miles... but i dont see that happening on 25 psi. and even at that point, it would be hard to even be streetable... i think 15 psi would be your best bet for a weekend joy rider.

just my opinion... rice isnt a certain type of car... its when people do stupid **** to cars, trying to make them look fast, and have NOOO idea what their talking about.

personally, i drive a mustang, which is soon going to be supercharged at around 11 psi, and around 450 rwhp... but i'll still give respect to a guy i work with, who has a sleeper civic, with a fully built b18 on around 22psi... its a quick lil bastard.

i say if you like it, go for it... your the one paying for it, so YOU need to be the one who's happy with it... not a bunch of guys on a forum

Wow, and honest, non bashing statement that is actually giving advice in this forum? I am still on CA.com right?

Thanks man.. Its not that Im really looking for opinions on WHAT to buy , its just I dont have alot of experience with any tuner cars and was pretty much in the dark about how this would be on the streets for a DD.. It would be a car that got stored winters, and only out on nice days so, 100,000 miles would take a loooong time to get to anyways..

if you dont have any experience tuning cars... i would suggest you take some time to learn about turbo systems, and forced induction in general, before taking a modded turbo car out and really letting into it.

and it really does get annoying when people bash on a certain type of car, because they have some bias against a certain type of cars... when half of them would get their ***** smoked by those same cars... not saying that i have a preference between import or domestic (i've built both) ... i have respect for anyone who can actually build a fast car, and know what their actually doing

I think I might go for it. He came down to 7k. He says everything's solid and I trust him and he is very good with tuner cars and tuning in general.

at a VERY least... have a 3rd party mechanic check it out bro... just cuz the seller says its solid, doesnt mean it is... not saying anything against his skills, just saying you gotta protect yourself too... there's no lemon law when it comes to private sellers, u kno... so it would def be worth it to give a reputable shop 50-100 bucks to look it over completely, and just make sure everything is copacetic

Drove it today. It's a blast to drive. Took it to archer racing and everything checked out good. When the turbo spools there is no getting traction. On the hiway punched it in 3rd at 60 and tires just roasted. Need to figure out some way to get traction cuz that might start to get annoying.
