Calling all ricer/import/tuner/turbo people..

man yal hit a wall. that had to ****. mine ended during winter. there was a bit of snow onthe ground and a invisible hole in the road fill with snow. needsless to say the hole removed the body kit for me lol

Yea, I hit 3rd and snapped a axle...everything then went even more wrong and the last thing I remember was turning left to try to keep it straight and then a loud slam...then I was in the pit area with paramedics. lol It would figure that was one of the days non of my friends were videoing too.

Yea it does **** the srt isnt AWD , it has cheaper tires on there now ( Fuzion ZRi 225/45/16 I believe is the size ) But I dunno what tires to look at for purely sticky summer tires.. If I can go wider I would , but the car is so low as it is that might be tough too

You're gonna want to some slicks if you plan on hooking anywhere on the street. Even my stock Ion Redline doesn't get traction in 1st gear, it's just gonna be like that with FWD cars.
1st gear on the streets is a joke.. Obviously you have to shift out of first @ 2500-3000 rpm and be light on the gas otherwise its just to much.. but spinning @ 60+ in 3rd and 4th gear not even on the gas, @ 15 psi, in a car thats set to run 25 psi is just crazy..

You could detune the car a bit to make it more streetable. I have several setups for mine with a couple being for street use. I also run different boost levels in each gear to help with traction issues. Just because a car is AWD does not mean it will keep traction. I break loose with slicks all the time. FWD is a pita for traction though.

I dontknow how to de tune something set up like this .. 25psi is 580 whp, everything from the crank up is built like crazy.. the boost is all the way down @ 15 psi.. Even if there was a good ultra performance summer tire on it that was wider it would help a little bit , but still its never gonna hook up..

If you don't know much about the car and where to go to have it adjusted I would say your best option. Is to just flip it and make a few bucks.

I've seen an awd 1g eclipse pull the front wheels on the street. People love their dsms around here tho.
Yea, I have a 2G with a 1G motor swap and "IF" I hook up I can get the front up just a tad...but most of the time it just breaks free and my 60ft goes to crap.

I realize its all tuning, but what Im saying, is that its about as low as it can be right now without a full dyno tune, and retuning back to pump gas

whats your 60? I know this one was running 1.65 before the rebuild
I'm only doing 1.5s on average with spinning. I don't think your skittle does a 1.65 though unless that was on slicks with a good amount of track time to get the suspension just right for launch.

it was the previous owner, and yes it was running slicks.. Skittle.. really? I thought that was played out and not funny like 5 yrs ago

it is just a common reference for those things that is still used randomly. Did he show you slips and/or video? That just seems like a very quick time from a FWD. Most RWD cars only manage a 1.1-1.5 for drag cars and AWD cars average 1.4-1.8 depending on the setup.

I honestly dont know what he had done to it before.. I dont know if Im being misunderstood or I didnt explain myself correctly, But I do NOT have the car.. I just drove it for a few hours yesterday, and pretty much loved it.. Forgot how FUN cars were to drive.. fells like im 16 again, kinda

All I know is he had a sick R/T, jump off a 2 step wotbox , and traction
