Calling all Fathers! (and everyone else too)

I moved 4 hours away. Id drive across the state, meet up with Palm Beach County Sheriffs Dept in front of her(my) house just to see my kids for the day. be resilient! It may be hard but the end result is well worth it. My son hated my guts up until 4 years ago. Now he is taking leave to spend a week with me so I can help him build a system in his new car.

A friend of mine had a daughter early in life with a woman who was a complete douchebag. Long story short, he had got a nice settlement from being mangled in a car accident and I'll wager it cost him close to 30 grand in lawyers to get every other weekend.
This is NOT going to change any time soon period. The communists have completely infiltrated our media, government, and academia and socialism demands dependency and no loyalty apart from loyalty to the state. These laws which punish fathers and reward illegitimacy and irresponsibility are designed to destroy the nuclear family and make everyone just a little more dependent on the system. In short, McCarthy was right and if you don't have a lot of money or if the mother isn't a hopeless fvckup your prospects here are pretty grim. Your best option would be to grab the child and try to escape the country or beg borrow or steal enough money to fight a legal battle.

It's frustrating that this is such a battle. So many people preach equality these days, yet this subject gets overlooked on every level. All I, and other fathers I've come across in this situation want is EQUALITY and to be a father to their own blood. Why anyone thinks that's wrong is beyond me.

I understand what you are saying. Blacks, Women, Gays they all won their battles for equality although it took time... It just seems like this will never be supported in the same way.

Florida thankfully has changed since I went through my battles. Many times I was in court, crying, pleading, begging to see my children. They just didnt care. Now I have friends in similar situations where the courts seem to be a bit more in favor of the fathers.

Awesome man! I'm happy for you. Just think, some kids never get the opportunity to learn that they were brainwashed into hating their own parent and never know any better. Sad.

My daughter was supposed to be moving back to TN at the end of July. I had my hopes up for months only to have them shattered by being told she wouldn't be moving back. So back to my dark hole I went. But im trying to regain my composure and do everything I can.

WA laws are pretty tough here. It's 50/50 for everything. I'm uncertain as far as visiting rights/custody of children....although on the news was a few Amber alerts for a little one. True and tried, they tried to get away.

Mitch.....you said you pay child support and goes to a card instead of actual $$ to her?? That's a great idea since I have a feeling child support $$ is being misused by 1000's of people.

Yes child support goes on a card, but its like a debit/ATM card. You can draw cash off it for a small fee. Child support is another very broken system that needs change.

Was making about a grand a week, in desperation from being told I was a bad father and wouldnt take care of my kids I sent her about 700 a week of that. Sent it registered, sign receipt money orders. The judicial system could care less. She told them I had never paid a dime and ordered me to pay back about 5000 dollars from the day I moved out. Another lawyer and another 10 grand later, that got dismissed.

I went through this with my oldest son, his mother was vindictive as fuq, the judge told me that the court was only concerned about my paying child support, everything else I had to get a lawyer. She even denied my visitation, and brainwashed him as well. Now he and I have a wonderful relationship, and he now sees that it wasn't me not wanting to spend time with him. Hang in there dude, it is most definitely a fight worth fighting.

If your not on the birth Certificate there's nothing you can do. My wife and I have been battling her pos ex husband that puts the kids off on someone else every other weekend. Getting sole custody is a mofo with our kids. I love the kids to death even though they biologically aren't mine. I wish you the best but its going to be tough and a never ending uphill battle.
