calculating internal volume

It does if your measurements are in feet dumbass. If you do the multiplications in inches then yes, you need to divide by 1728 because that is 12*12*12, thus converting you from cubic inches to cubic feet.
Your the ******* here sorry. No one will measure their box in feet unless it is a crazy wall build. GTFO troll

ha, im the head of R&D department for CTI Industries, its an international company that does high end repair and upgrade work to all types of power plants mostly nuclear power plants but we do work in some coal burning plants and oil burning plants.
Yet you still don't know how to calculate volume? I don't buy it...

umad?? Next time pull your head out from your *** before trying to give advise, maybe you will not screw it up next time.
I didn't screw it up. He asked how you calculate CUBIC FEET. I told him. Any idiot knows that if your calculating cubic FEET your measurements need to be in FEET, you just assumed that I was talking about inches.

You are just attempting to be a smart *** about it. Any person with a brain would be able to put the idea together that he was talking about enclosure volume(99% of us use inches). Which just means your lame attempt to be a troll failed horribly.

I still don't understand. I knew he was talking about enclosure volume. It sounds to me like you thought I was incorrect because you made an assumption and now your trying to cover it by saying there is some sort of forum standard in dimensions. I never stated what dimensions I was using. I gave him the base formula for volume. Go ask a professor what the formula for volume is and I guarantee he will tell you exactly what I said. Now if the OP asked what the formula for calculating cubic feet using measurements in inches, then you would be correct, but that involves converting between two different forms of measurement, which he did not ask for. So until you come up with a decent reason as to what part of my statement was incorrect, you can kindly blow me.

And yes, I'm very mad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You knew exactly what he was talking about and you decided to troll instead of answering the question in which he asked originally. Why would you attempt to cover that? I fixed what you did not tell him. It is apparent that one of two things happened. 1. You wanted to troll. 2. You failed at answer the real question which was asked.

Just because he did not ask it correctly does not mean you should troll his thread.

Show me where in his original post he stated his measurements were in inches.
