I say Stetsom. They have stepped up their game with quality and customer service a hell of a lot. I can always get a hold of someone from Stetsom wether it be live via phone, messenger or email.

All your big zenon based boards such as the DD Z2lv and Cactus 7k etc.. No reputable amp repair will repair them if you ever break one. So you're stuck debating on buying a new board direct from MFG or selling blown.

If you pay enough, someone will repair them. I've repaired two in the last two months or so. Due to subs blowing, and shorting the outputs with the tinsel leads.

And really, smaller != efficient.

I have personally seen and operated the SD's and they are solid. They are not cheap but its a simple rule where you get what you pay for.

EDIT: And before there are any shots at my friend credibility here is his build log with the RF amps he dropped back in to power his subs.

I would never run a single amp bigger than 5k for daily, I think your just asking for trouble with these huge amps for daily...

I remember seeing on Termpro that 2 SD 12kds were .1db louder than 3 Stetsom 10kds w/ exact same setup. Also an SD 8kd was 1db louder than a Ground Zero 10k(zenon 7kw board used in Cactus, Atomic, etc).

My next setup will be going with SounDigital amps without a question.

I've read the cactus 7k is not good for daily.

Well, I wouldn't make such a bold statement like that unless I knew what the situation is/was. Frankly, I was a little disappointed to hear that the Stetsoms pooped out on Big Dave.

Completely different switching and drive concepts really. I want a 8k just to poke at.
