Its there single 1/0 in and outs for me. I know what happens to 1/0 when you run to much current through it. Plus that amount of power in that size of casing that's guaranteed to get hot as hell.

I wish more people would be like RD and stop using the big zenon boards, the ones with more than 16 outputs... I hate those things with a passion. I have 0 problems out of the smaller ones that use 16 outputs or less, great amps, good to rebuild, haven't run across one yet that I could not repair, but total opposite experience on the bigger ones. Just had a guy call here wanting a VFL 700.1 repaired.... told him to call American Bass and ask about getting a new board put in it.

I don't like sundowns prices nor all the hype.

Also about 1/0 in puts, MakeShiftAudio was able to break it down properly and prove the lead of 1/0 would never flash or melt.

LOL... you know your "doing it big" when people are hatin on you for no reason related to the product itself.

Price is high because it's a 2 year replacement warranty.

with only two made, I can guess whos this is... Bob wont be able to do anything for him imo, his best bet is to go to DD and see if he can get an old Z2 board off of them.

Don't be a dick. I wasn't hating. Sundowns everwhere. Its like wal-mart, they're a dime a dozen. And I've got the team pricing info and its still high. I could get a 5k at 12v amp for maybe 100 bucks more than the "competitor" pricing.

I'm always a dick. It sure sounded like hatin. I don't understand (even after you attempted to explain it again) what you mean by "all the hype" like it's somehow worthless hype or something.... I think most people would qualify that as hatin.

Anyway, on another note. Keep your 4 40.1's, that's the way to go. Love those amps... dB-r is the repair place for IA and I have had really good luck with those 40.1's. What numbers are you putting up? I got a guy with 3 40.1's on 4 12's doing 159.9. Edit : excuse my mistake 2 x 40.1's not 3. He's looking for a 3rd one and possibly gonna run 6 subs, that's why I keep thinking 3 40.1's...

Probably because you are looking at something that is either overrated or is cheap chinese junk. Or someone aint makin no money and won't be around long.... Or possibly it could be a Stetsom or SounDigital amp you are talking about, I am their repair shop but honestly I don't know what price they sell their amps for, it's irrelevant to me.

Only thing I'm pointing out is how many people run them. There's now I think 3 out of the 5 heavy hitters down here that all have Sundown. There's nothing around here and I don't compete. I've never been on a meter with the 40.1s. Last setup was with weak amps and I blew them.
