Around here there's a BIG fabric store that has some that's decent and very cheap, a little thinner than a lot of stuff you'd get from an install shop but only a couple bucks a yard, they have black and charcoal grey. I'm sure if you poke around a large fabric store you'll come up with something.

Fabrixx, Hancock, or Joann's are some big box. walmart sometimes.
