Buying a system in less than 2 weeks.... AND...

Well i totally understand that, its true about the same subs. But i dont have too much money to begin with, i my other choice would of been 2 15" Mojo's... the new '08 version. One itself is like 1500 RMS

how bigs your trunk? have enough space to properly port a pair of 15"s? why not a pair of 12" mojos? they can get loud and you'd have a better shot of getting a box for them in your car, unless you're building the box inside. and both properly powered i'd definately take the mojo. since you say your strapped for cash, you have the money for those subs and the right kind of electrical system, and amps to run them?

Im buying EVERYTHING from RAYS ELECTRONICS for $700. now the installation they said would be another $150 (i would do it myself but i dont know how), and dynamatt would cost more. im going to be spending around 900-950

Ultimate defeat.

You could get a very good single 15 and a good amp, install yourself, and get a ported box built by someone.

Some options:

1. Fi BL 15"

Amp: Hifonics BXI1206D, google it

2. 2 10" Fi BLs

Link above

Amp: Hifonics BXI1606D

3. 2 12" Ascendant Audio Arsenals

https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=15480809734a70c/shopdata/0015_BL/product_overview.shopscript

Amp: 1000 watts @ 1ohm

Get a good 4 gauge amp kit and learn how to install your self, and if you have problems, well thats what we're here for. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

DO NOT buy from shops, they way overprice their shit. Order online.

Just some quick options off the top of my head. Those should all beat him pretty easily, but being he has an SUV, and you're in a trunk car, you're fighting an uphill battle. It also depends alot on the box and install.

Boxes:

2 12's

4-4.75ft^3 at around 30-35 htz

1 15"

3.5-4ft^3 ar around 30-35htz

What kind of box, and what wires? With who? How much do the Classics run new and what brand is the amp? From what i've heard RD is pretty solid stuff.

won't be louder than a pair of properly powered type rs'. unless that other guy has a shitty install. the classics are nice, but lean more towards sq.
