I get mine from max amps. They aren't too rediculous in priceFYI.. these Lipo prices are insane ... Any good cheaper alternative to a top end Lipo for the 1/16th Revo?? Also I see it will fit a 2s or 3s , so Im guessing any battery that is a 7.4V replacement?
Its a hobby, there's no justifying it. Unless you are married.GAH SO CONFUSING
I've always wanted to get into RC Drift... Could never justify spending the money though.
Lol thankfully my girl likes SQ like me.Its a hobby, there's no justifying it. Unless you are married.
So technically the dual 7.2 would be a higher voltage, I get that so the only reason I can see running dual 11.1s in parallel is a much longer battery life. I don't see how the performance could be better since it's still 3 volts lessIf you wire them parallel you can . Your esc would still only see 11.1v but double the capacity. JUST BE CAREFULL WITH THE LIPO's. they are very safe if you take precautions with them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
All I hear about lipo is, make sure you charge them with a lipo charger and a good one at that and your ok.If you wire them parallel you can . Your esc would still only see 11.1v but double the capacity. Well Im looking at the big trucks next time..( 1/10, 1/8 )Tower hobby and hobbypartz (May have misspelled that last one) are good places to by RC stuff.
I had a Brushless Slash with the Velineon system and was crazy fast. I say well over 50mph for sure. I did some off-road racing with other Slashes and was crazy good fun! I spent right around 300 smacks for it all a couple years ago. I have since sold it off to make ends meet this past Christmas.
I miss it! I recommend the Slash if you will be bashing a lot. Also dont need to be a pro to go to a local track. Be prepared to be hooked though if you go. Met some cool peeps and had a blast. Even my daughter liked going to the races.
So trust me, bashing is cool, but you will want more.
For big off-road trucks, I recommend the Traxxas Stampede with the brushless system. Gets up there in speed as well and runs over almost anything, lol!
Dang, now I want to buy another one....granted I still have my old school Tamiya Hornet.....
