IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT. IF YOU SHITTY STUFF YOU CAN GET IT FOR LIKE $300 YOU WANT SOMETHING DECENT YOUR LOOKING OVER $1000. I AM SELLING AN AWESOME SYSTEM CHEAP BECAUSE I GOT ANOTHER DEAL COMING TO ME CHEAP.

Head Unit 100-200 bucks

box 60-80 bucks

wire kit 40-75 bucks

subs 80 to 125 bucks a pair

amp 150-200 bucks

if you are really low on cash i wouldn't recomend getting new speakers.. ya prob don't need them anyhow

so you are looking at..anywhere from 400 to 600 bucks for some cheap but "ok" shiz..

you can get mtx4000 series subs for cheap ass.. and for as cheap as they are.. they sound pretty good for 40 bucks each..(10" subs) i think the 12 cost 50 or something..

my neighbor has them and i can always hear that fool coming down the street

Peace

Unless your speakers are blown those can be last. A good HU is always key. I would recommend getting something good but cheap if this is your first system. Without a doubt you are going to want to change it around anyway.
