Worth it? $400 for 2 g512's ... Think 2 will get louder than my Mach 5 SPL off a single sundown 1500? I was going to put 2 sundown 1500's on the Mach 5 SPL, but I loaned it to a friend and never saw it again.

It was a SAZ1500d, and yes I did, but anyways, I did a search on the G5's and they seem nice but very low wattage, the subs im used to running are mostly 750rms and up... 450 rms does not seem to impressive... are these mainly SQ woofers?

not an spl woofer by any means and the sound quality is excellent, they can handle more 450 watts a piece belive me.

yeah you'd cook em most likely if you're going to use them for SPL. I totally forgot they're not real high wattage subs.

I opened the outer box, peeeked inside and saw "single voice coil" wriiten on the inner box. Checked the second box, same thing.

So, I contacted Crutchfield and they sent a second shipment. Very good CS.

Yeah, usually their prices are just too high for me. But they do have good sales from time to time -- and I really liked this one.

Yes they are expensive but also they have the best customer service around and if you but from them they usually send you a coupon every month for stuff. I paid 472 shipped for 2 10's and the gtr's because the guy on the phone went ahead and let me use a coupon in conjunction with the sale which is a no no I think.
