(2)kicker cvt with so much power: or (1)new SI MAG?

I want to order as soon as possible, preferably today depending how much feedback i get.

My first question is about the kicker Cvt's, I know they are rated for 400 but I am wondering if they could take 600 or is that just pushing it to much?

now my second question is 2 kicker Cvt's sealed off of the 400 watts each be louder then just one new mag off of 1000 watts correct?

now i am more geared toward some sq but i am just afraid one mag just will not cut it for me. Also, i heard the Cvt's do not sound to bad. any input?

I would do the Mag IMO. I wanted one, but I was on an uber budget when I pieced together my new system. Wife only lets me do so much......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Also I think one mag can get as loud as two of those CVt's. I have heard read good reviews on the CVT's though.

Still would get a mag or if you can wait, then pick up a couple BM's when they come out.

yea im trying to keep it as cheap as possible, dont really want to spend so much because this is just supposed to get me through until the bm's come out, im planning on picking up four when they do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but now u have me wondering if the one mag will get as loud as the two cvt's and sound better while doing it...

CVT's are nice i built a box for 4 12" cvt's in my buddies regular cab s-10
o yea? how much did each one receive?

Cone area usually has the upper hand...
yea i took this into consideration as well, so u think im better off with the CVT's?

thx for the input guys, any more? still kinda a toss up as of right now

If you're after sheer output, cone area usually does have the upper hand. However, if you have other pieces of the pie that you consider decently important (or more important), then it kind of throws you for a loop. You said you're more geared towards SQ but you don't believe the new Mag won't cut it? If mid 130's won't cut it for you out of a tiny sealed enclosure, maybe SPL plays a bigger role to you than you think?

I have one 6.5"cvt and that little speaker hits. I can't believe how much bass that thing will drop. I'm building a box now for another 6.5"cvt but really don't need it. My amp can run at 2ohms and they're so cheap I couldn't stop myself!

How are you running yours?

I have a set in the rear doors on my tundra and they are solid speakers, but I need to figure a way to seal the speaker because they are running free air right now.
