Built my first box today and it's ported

This is my first box build ever, so why not dive in and do a slot port. I rabbited all the joints/corners for a nice air tight fit. I also eased all the port wall edges to hopefully eliminate the chance for port noise. Let me know what you guys think. Hopefully I can get it carpeted today. As soon as it's carpeted and installed I'll take more pics.

I know. The wife was *****ing for me to get home, so I hit them with some 60 grit real fast.

I designed and almost identical box for my 12w7 go to in my Ext cab sonoma, but I only got it half way built and then I lost interest. I've got to give you props though that looks good and I bet it'll sound great!

Thanks for all the good words. I think my brother might be making a new box for his 10w7. If he does than I'll make sure he takes pics of it as well.

nice box, you wouldnt happen to build cabinets would you? Thats a rather odd take on how to assemble the box. Just not conventional. Looks nice for sure

Definitely not the first time with carpentry. We build custom cabinets and furniture among other things. This was the easiest thing I've done in a while.
