Put my SS 12's in the Rex tonight, in the same boxes I had my FI BL 10's in. I removed all the volume reducing 2x4's I had in them, and will see how they do tomorrow. Here is a picture progression of what I have had in it, and what the highest # was, all in one post to save everyone's time. Enjoy my rambling...

150.2 with one SAZ3000D @ .5 ohm + two FI BL 10s

150.5 with one SAZ3000D @ .5 ohm, 152.1 with two SAZ3000D @ .25ea I believe it was, with two FI BL 10s

152.7 with two SAZ3000D @ 1 ohm each, two FI BL 10s

And now on to this... two SS SPLX-HX12d2's

The boxes are dirty, the subs are dusty from being in my garage, but we'll see what happens soon. Any guesses on the dash and kick #'s?

Who knows, man. I've got three 12's, but no time or ambition for a new box. If you're not trying to play ONLY 60hz in a CRX it won't mean much.

Wow I never saw the reply from you, I believe it's 2.1 or 2.2 net. I'll find a few updated pics.

Terry, I asked you about sub placement in my CRX the other day via fb messenger, if you recall that brief convo.

If you're not trying to play ONLY 60hz in a CRX it won't mean much.

I've found a lower 40's second sweet spot in a few of my CRX's actually... my blue 87 peaked @ 43 with Orion H2 12's and mildly rusted completely out floorboards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ended up with a peak # of 153.4 with the two FI BL 10's, not bad for 1000wrms subs. HISPLS helped me goop them back together after I blew the surrounds off the cones this past summer. He is a great competitor, and we have had some really close matches between our vehicles, which makes it even better!

Back in 2005 I went to SLAP Nationals with an RE MT 18 dual 1, two Orion 2500d's, and three Kinetik 2400hc's and won me a little championship trophy... this is my all time favorite CRX, and Terry may remember it as he was at that show in Hagerstown.

Had a DD9917b in it...

RE MT 18 D1. Painted the box pink with purple duct tape for Nationals, but this is how it looked prior. Gained 1db over the dual .7 DD9917b in same box, just hole bored out a tad

Edit - I found a pic of the box as it sat at 2005 SLAP National Championships in Hagerstown, MD.

Since I'll most likely be retiring this two 10 box soon, I'll throw these last few vids up from shows I went to. I use the head mount on my GoPro to look like an idiot walking around the shows and when I run in the lanes, so enjoy wasting a bit of your lives watching.
