Ok so I'm building my box for my HDC315 to go in my Dodge Dakota ext cab. I mostly designed this box along with some help from pioneer and mike456.

Today I went to home depot and got 1 sheet of MDF, and then a small sheet of MDF, along with some Tight Bond II, Silicone, 1 5/8 self tapping dry wall screws, primer, and flat black paint. The total came to 35 bucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. The guy only scanned the small $8 sheet of MDF, so I got the $30 one for free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

Yeah the price was right! And yes this is my first box but I have OCD kinda so I'm sure it will come out real well.

Edit: RyanM - Will do, thanks for the input. Oh and will putting that angle make the tuning diff?

No doing that will keep the tuning correct.

looks to bee good man good luck an take your time an remeber bro measure a zillion times but cut once, cause once its cut thats it lol (i should know i have done it a million times) i only wish i could get that lucky with the home depot thing only 35bucks for all that shit man my bill is like almost 70

lol yeah i lucked out for the price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. and idk i think ill be happy with the port and sub facing up in a truck. because my last setup was port to the side and my setup before that was ports up. i felt a lot more bass from the port being up.

Nice looking box. It reminds me of the last one I built for my s-10, I had sub and port up and liked it the best in my truck.
yeah when u have the sub/port not facing up in a truck it seems like the sound gets muffled and the air movement as well. when i had subs up port up ppl couldnt even try to light cigs if i had the bass up not with the port to the side i had much less air movement.

im just waiting for my hdc to get here! that and i need to buy an alt and wiring for the big 3. anyone know where i can get a 200amp alt for a 2000 dodge dakota?
