Building enclosure

I am building a enclosure for my truck and i wanna know if its neccesary to have those square black plastic things with like the red and black things i dont know what their called, ... or if i can just have a store hook the subs directly to my car w/o an amp i am new so i am dumb

Terminals? no you don't NEED them. An no you can't hook subs up without an amp Lawl
