THE STEREOTYPE FIGHTER!!!
ok kids,

i'm in the market for some home mades , so help me out here:

1.) the majority of music i listen to is rap and R&b. if i get some enclosures made i want them tuned to 38 - 40Hz ( i probably won't audibly hear the difference) but 35Hz is the lowest i'm willin to go. i don't know whether to get 6.5, 7 or 8 inch woofers. below, i chose these based on price, sensitivity, freq range and Fs, not necessarily in that order, but i know i didn't wanna go over $55. which ones should i choose? or u can pick something else for me:)

d.) http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=295-310

e.) http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=295-366

2.) which tweeter should i get?

3.) lastly, does anyone here know how to design and build crossovers? i need some. or maybe u can pick some for me from parts express or somewhere else.

p.s. this is for a MTM set-up also.

You want an MTM ?

You should build the Dayton MTM loudspeaker. Roman compiled these designed

from known good designers and he has all the crossover versions shown

here.

Read the babble and choose which crossover that you think might fit

your needs.

Gets some peg board [thin wood] and mount your crossover parts on it with

tie wraps. Do the parts placement first for easiest wiring, then do the wiring.
