i know it's not wrong to mix brands

i also wouldn't do a one-brand system

i have instelled many systems but i have never installed a one brand system

that why i want to try it out.

There's nothing "different" about it.....other than the fact that you are severely limiting your choice of equipment.

no offence but its just a stupid waste of money, its no different than installing any other system except you didnt get the best products for your money

I would use pioneer, their new premier line of subs sounds good and their head units are pretty good too, and you will probably get ouit of it for less money than if you went with alpine...

I personally wouldn't do it just because I wouldn't, BUT if you can find a single manufacturer that will have every product that will perform exactly how you want/need, then go for it.

You're joking about the eclipse amps right? and their speakers will compete well with the Type X's.

and no, pioneer isn't that great. the deck and spl subs are great but the speakers and amps aren't that great.

we want a overall best SQL system not just great bass and lacking highs and mids

i think rockford is probably going to mainly be your only source for one brand only wiht wirse and all that goop

A nice professional looking install with all same brand would be neat to look at. I don't see anything wrong personally but with my limited resources i have to go whatever is best bang for the buck so I myself, wouldnt do one.

Might be a good way to earn a sponsorship I suppose if you competed and did very well?

i think any of the mentioned could sound very well. i dont like alpine decks (performance is great as long as it works lol) usually their speakers subs and amps a generally designed to work pretty well together.
