building a one brand system

i'm thinking of building a one brand system for a friend.

and i say system i mean amps, speakers, comps, deck, subs

what would be the best brand out there?

i think Alpine would be the best.

depends on what kind of music you listen to and what your going for, sq, spl, sql. I'd say an all alpine system would be pretty good though. Id also consider Pioneer... why does he want to stick with only one brand though.

Ide say eclipse by far, since their woofers seem to be much better than alpines new ones.

yea if i had to choose to go with only one brand i would go with alpine cuz i like their head units, but since their subwoofers dont even compete with eclipse's (in my book at least) i would totally rather go with an all-Eclipse system. of course, my ideal eclipse system would be more expensive than the alpine's.. but then again, you get what you pay for, right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

i would one brand but not include the headunit. Then it would be an polk/momo

eclipse woofers seem to be much better than alpines but maybe the alpine speakers and amps are better than eclipses.

and no, pioneer isn't that great. the deck and spl subs are great but the speakers and amps aren't that great.

we want a overall best SQL system not just great bass and lacking highs and mids
