I currently have 2 Pioneer 350w 10" subs in my '91 nissan 300zx. They are in sealed boxes made for an S-10 or other bench seat type truck. I'd like to put these subs in my '96 blazer but put them in a bigger, possibly ported box. The subs are taking up room in my car, I can't put the t-tops down)

current set-up, yes wires are showing but I don't want to cut through the carpet. It sounds great too. Bridged on a 300w amp. both boxes are sealed. Enough bass for me. Old skool but still bumps.

So here are my plans..

Remake this box of MDF, etc..I have 2 ports as well.

measurements- 3Ft long by 13 inches wide by 11 inches deep.

Now my options:

1. one sealed box with no chambers

2. one sealed box with two chambers (for each sub)(any difference?)

3. One ported box (Put chambers in or no?)

or..

4. A box that has one sub sealed in one chamber and the other sub is ported with one or both ports that I have.

I know car audio but technical sub box making isn't my specialty. will chambering each sub matter?

I'll be making this box myself. sorry my camera batteries died, no pics of current "prototype" box
