You can find that video card for cheaper. I got mine for like 90 bucks on new egg and it came with Crysis (after $10 rebate). And gaming....go with Intel. I have a processor with fan I can sell ya, but I'd have to find out what it is. For gaming, it probably won't be the right one though. Also, for your video card, I'd stick with eVGA brand.
As for memory, I haven't heard much about Geil, though I'm not an avid computer guru, but I like the Corsair that I'm using. Got two 2 gig sticks for about 80 bucks on newegg. I wouldnt get four 1 Gig sticks because if you decide to upgrade, then you will have to buy all new sticks. You're better off getting two 2 gigs and then down the line having the ability to add two more 2 gigs.
Make sure your power supply is sufficient. I have a 750w PC Power and Cooling, but its more than I need, but theres nothing wrong with headroom, especially when it uses only what it needs to use, not the entire 750. You would be good with something around 500-600w.
As for the case, if you want to make things easier if you do decide to build yourself, which I recommend because it's just too easy nowadays, get a full tower case. It also makes it better for cooling. If you stick to mid tower, look into Coolermaster. There was one I was looking into but forgot what model it was. There was a Raidmax which was also good, found it on new egg...you can get it with either blue or green lights, thats all I remember. Antec makes some great cases. I love my Twelve Hundred. Well worth the money.
And DON'T, I repeat DON'T use a tv as a monitor. I'm using one right now and it's just not the same. I've used a Samsung LCD tv and even compared that with one of their computer monitors and the difference is noticeable. This will make a big difference with gaming as well. The monitors I like are the Dell and Samsung ones.
