Sup guys. I whant to build a simple yet budget friendly computer system. Looking to waste around 300. I whant good bass and none the less some nice highs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I already have 2 12 FI SSD's sitting around, I'm plannin on using one of them for the bass. Would that be good?

pick up a couple stereo recievers cheap, just make sure one has a sub out. use one for highs and the sub out from that one to the other reciever for subs. just get an 1/8th to rca cable and a gli.

Can you link me to some good yet cheap stereo recievers?

So I'll be needing 2 recievers total? How about the wiring that goes from your computer to the recievers? Where do you buy that?

you can get some on ebay cheap or craigslist or a local bargain hunter etc.

you use an 1/8 in to rca cable and a gli is a ground loop isolator. i will get you some links.

here are some links, only other thing you will need is a rca splitter to go fro the sub out on the ht reciever to an input of the stereo (sherwood) reciever. cuz it will be one mono jack out and you need a l and r in on the stereo/sub reciever.

all you do is set your volume on the sub amp and just use the ht reciever because it works like your car hu the higher you turn the volume up on the ht reciever it also increases the sub out voltage/volume. so it basically works like a car amp would and it works awesome. i have this set up on my ht. i use another reciever to run my subs this way, two d4 punch hx2 12s wired to 8 ohms each and its more than enuff lol. just make sure you use a sub out of the ht do to it having a crossover.

I don't know what your expectations are, but for $300 I'd have to recommend saving your money.

$500 would be a reasonable budget for everything, but at $300 you're simply going to be making too many compromises with disposable equipment.
