Building a Box for single Kicker S12L7 help?

I have a single Kicker s12l7 in a tiny tiny sealed box. Im gonna be running it off of a Kicker ZX750.1 amp.

Im looking to build a bigger, ported box for this. I have about 25 inches depth, 16 inches height, and 40 inches width maximum to work with, (or atleast willing to give up in space).

I was thinking of shooting for 35hz, so i looked at the box design for the 3 cubes at 35hz.

Would this be a suitable enclosure design? should i got smaller to something like 2 cubes or to a larger box?

Too much port area in that for a single 12 if its going to be a daily setup... shoot more towards 30-35sq. in.

He is taking about the width of the port (actually the area of the port).

I have had really good responce to 3.25 cu/ft @ around 34-36 Hz with about 40 sq/in of port area.

I've never been really good at guessing port area, but I used 33 for my solo-b and it was good. A high port area varies directly with what, deebeez?
