building a 2 way system

Oh lawdy!
I want to start a budget component system using speakers from partsexpress in my car and was wondering if i could use this speaker?

Goldwood GW-S525/4 - 5 1/4

They are both 4 ohms and don't know what crossover to use?

 
can you fit a bigger midbass up front? i would go active instead of tryikng to match a passive crossover
was thinking of going bigger but was going to wait till later when i do some fiberglass work in the summer time.

and was reading the sticky of active and passive and i think i might go active if i have enough $

 
if i go active do i still need the crossovers or no?
by going active you are using "active processing" to X over the comp set. So if your going active you don't need passive xovers.

Also as far as having the money to go active, most amplifiers have crossovers built-in, so it wouldn't cost you any $, more than likely.

so i really dont need a seperate crossover, just find an amp with one built in?
