Build Quality

[FaultCode]

Does anyone here have any opinions on which brand/s have better build quality than others. I ask this as there is a lot of bumpy roads where I drive and don't like the idea of any of my gear shaking itself apart.

The best built headunit I have had so far I think was a Pioneer DEH-P77MP and possibly the worse being the Sony MDX-C800REC that is in use now though I don't know for how much longer.

I have heard good things about Alpine but haven't owned one yet.

i have a clarion dxz-835mp and it has never skipped. however, it doesn't like cds with labels on them.

There are to many brands to compare. My Sony CDX-m9905x, Elcipse cd8445, and all my kenwood decks were built like tanks.

Mcintosh MX406 is a good deck. You want the ultimate, try the top of the line Denon deck.

Oh and Clarion owns mcintosh now so the top of the line clarion is also awsome too.
