I think you guys need to go back and read the original post....this guy doesn't need a freaking $1000 processor. He listed that he needed to use word and Excel in the post...don't think he needs anything too serious...LOL

The fact that he "video edits professionally" but felt the need to point out that it needs to run Office Programs tells me it's really not that professional. Before I comment further, i'd like to know exactly what "professional" work is being done. Otherwise we are just guessing.

He said that he wants to play, livestream and edit 4k video. Rendering 4k requires a powerful cpu, playing 4k needs a powerful graphics card, and he needs tons of ram for multitasking in livestreams.

I mostly buy my comps used from impulsive idiot buyers. I usually save a lot on 1 month old machines with full warranty.

I only buy msi or asus based machines. Gigabyte boards are complete garbage.

Amd cpus are good but most chipsets for them suck and fail within 2 years.
