was planning on doin a big system in my 02 blazer but wont have the money for it for atleast a yr or 2 so im thinking of doin a budget system for now, tell me what u think

pioneer or alpine hu $200

id ctx65cs comps $150

1-id idq10 $150

kicker zx550.3 $260

wiring $50

mdf for box/baffles $50

or i could go with some old boston acoustic comps i have and a boston g210 and save myself $195

thats what i was thinkin.. this would be goin in my tahoe then i could save up for a bigger system for my xtreme blazer.. the boston subs have good sq correct?

thats what i thought, i know the comps sounded good even tho they werent amped or in a deadened door..

i got the g1's for #135 shipped, even tho they are recommended in a sealed box.. i didnt like em.. porting them really brought them to life.. and for how much i paid i couldnt be happier.. and they take well over their rated power

im broke right now, hours got cut back at work..

think ill go with the boston set up in the tahoe and for the blazer ill go with

id ctx65cs comps powered by a zx450.2 and a idq10 with a 450.2 bridged

Do you like those MLI-65s? I am thinking of putting a pair of those in my Mustang when I convert it to active over the next couple of months. Only difference is I plan to go with a Pioneer 800PRS for a HU and scrap the CDA-9885.
