ok right now I have 5.25 comps in the kick hertz hsk130

I can put 6.75 in the doors

should I get some hertz 6.5s and a 3way crossover

should I get a set of herts componets and put them in the door

should I get a set of hertz coax and put them in the doors

or something else

i will admit im not extremely familiar with all the hertz lineups but, why not a dedicated midbass like the mach 5 mli 6.5 and run an active/passive setup. 4 channel amp run your 5.25 components off the front channel hipassed at say 300hz, then run the mli 6.5s off the rear channel lopassed at 300hz and hi passed(via headunit) at 50hz, you can play with your crossover points but basically use your amp and headunit to bandpass a dedicated midbass, and hipass a set of passive components...

or you could go 3 way active...

i vote with the guy above.. if you gto space in the kicks for mids and a spot in the door for a dedicated midbass.. i would go that way
