Obsidian Audio + MB quarts ONYX is my suggestion. You could keep it within budget or get 2 subs and go over a little depending on what size subs ya want.

I have no personal experience, but from everything I've read they are nice reliable budget amps. I own an Obsidian Audio 15 and its a very nice sub for the money. Sound great and capable of getting pretty loud.

This and keep an eye out here you might be able to find an aq1200d for a good price I just sold mine here for $190 shipped.
