Budget Subs

Here's the deal, I'm on a SERIOUS budget and need some woofers. I really want to get some without spending more than $200. I was looking at either 2 12's or 4 12's. I really want something that can get loud and sound good. I have an old Fosgate (225x2), but you know how they are. What would be some good subs, 2 or 4, for my application? I was looking at the premiers, but I wasn't sure.

Honestly, if you never gave Memphis a FAIR listen, I'd start there. BUT on the other hand, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal than the infamous elemental design Ks....read my review of memphis power reference subs in the review section. And, if you have a local memphis dealer around check with them, you may be suprised. Otherwise edks are GREAT!

mtx subs sound pretty good

i had some 12" 8000 series

and some 10" 6000 series

they sound pretty good for the money

you can get 2 12's for about 200

But the pioneer premiers are only $45 a sub? Would they be good? I was thinking about 4 of them.

yea those pioneers won't let ya down. u can't get 2 K's under $200. i think its kinda dumb though that the premiers are the exact same as the pioneer. o well.

So don't get the premiers, get the regular pioneers? I can get the premiers for $45 a sub in my hometown. Does that mean that the regular ones should be cheaper? Should I even think about going with some of the older IMPP Silver ones?

i could not find a 12" on there but look around u will find 1

they are real good subs for the money

i have some of those and i like them alot. especially for the money. but see the black subs (premiers) are actually better than the silver IMPP subs.. unlike the subs now which r the same.

if these r da all black subs, then i give it another vote. i was very suprised when i heard them in a memphis demo car. very nice sq and got surprisingly loud for only 0.3 cu feet each i believe
