Dayton DSP-408 v Pioneer DEQ-S1000A

I believe that the dsp-408 is over all a better unit and much more configurable, but the Pioneer has a calibration function to de eq factory adjustments which is what I am looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with the pioneer unit and its "de eq" and how it works, information online is limited? Is it actually doing this or is it just doing automatically what can be done manually with the Dayton EQ?

I read at length on a dsp and specifically the pioneer but I’m not sure for that price the de-equalization feature is going to be all that amazing. I think it electronically sums but not sure about low end where it needs to create that low end.maybe someone who has it can chime in
