budget comps

I have a set of Excelon Kenwood XR-S17P's...for a budget componet set they can't be beat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I've ran Boston Pro's...old school MB Quarts....and top of the line Premiers and these have to be some of the best for a little under $200

Never used or heard those Excelons, i had heard the slim mount Excelons years ago and was not impressed and never went back.

 
I wouldn't say the RSD's tweeter is harsh, but I have mine off-axis. However, with some decent power, I find the woofer to be harsh in the mid-range on some music. I think if you send them their rated power, they should be fine but may not get as loud as you desire.

Go with the ID set. =)
