yup. IMHO all that work could potentially be a disaster lol... all for saving $2 in tinsel leads. and 20 minutes of sewing.

A friend of mine who recones subs almost always does them this way and has never had an issue. He had the tinsel leads but I chose to go with this route as it was quicker and I liked the idea better.

question.... how do you take an RD sub and make it a DC lvl 4? am i missing something? I understand you used DC soft parts, but unless you swapped the motor off the basket, its still a RD sub with Lvl 4 soft parts....

yeye! I love it, I prefer the ball over the trackpad and the look of it over the 9700. Plus I don't need to upgrade.

Got the deck in today, this thing is complicated to figure out right now with no manual, lol

I fail to understand how this is a budget build, considering it consists of Morel, Treo and DC Audio, and the audio is worth more than the car. But I digress.
