how do you hold the batt down?

and yea Exide Orbital is good too, have one sitting across the room from me right now. I think he wants to match a bigger batt for the back later on and i dont think they have a large batt like a G31

i bent the tabs at the base of the batt tray so that the supports could be wide enough to fit around the new batt. i used the same prongs or supports or whatever you call them and then had some garage door metal material that i cut and already had holes in it so just bolted it down. the top brace from the stock batt is not wide enough to use.

Cool, good to know. I figured I was going to have to do some modification being that the oem battery I have is just a tiny little thing.

Ya I think I got my mind set on the NGT Extreme but I'm going to call the Deka retailer and see how much they charge then head on over to my local Carquest

ya just rip out all the plastic batt tray stuff and look at it for a second and you will figure it out. its not very complicated and very easy to do.

how much dimming do you get vs your stock battery?

the stock batt is nothing. lights dimmed when i was rolling down my windows. but now i get little dimming with my new batt. voltage is fine at full tilt with lights off. never goes much below 12 volts. i will be doing the big three soon as well so that should help as well.

Ok cool, ya I have the big 3 done and have 0 gauge wiring throughout the whole entire car so I'm hoping this will get me by til I add a G31 battery in the trunk.
