I have installed about 30-40 stereos but i went to install a cheap one in my old ladies piece of crap cavalier and it powers the amp up light wise but the green light or protection light does not come on but the amp name lights up and i tried direct connect ground to battery for shits and giggles. I tried hooking up rca's from my car and connecting them to that amp and nothing changed all fuses anyone ahve any idea

but atelast with the protection light on he'd be better than where he's at now

It is a cheap *** pyle i hooked the subs and amp up to my system they worked did the wiring for her car and the word pyle lights up its getting power but the green light and the red protection light wont come on

So you have installed 30-40 stereos but you had no idea that you were going to have trouble with an amp made by Pyle? Brilliant!

Sounds like the amp is not getting a turn on signal for the HU. Are you sure that the remote turn on lead is connected properly? Since you have installed 30-40 units before, I am sure you have not overlooked that.

Yeah when the car comes on and the cd player comes on the word pyle lights up but that is it.So the remote is working

have u checked your rcas and settings on the amp and deck?

Yeah i even hooked rcas up from my cobalts stereo to hers and still nothing its a pioneer deh-2000 its a $97 cd player i think it is the headunit i dont think the head unit is working right.

grounds **** on cavaliers. did you find a good ground for your amp
